4 Loop Jumbo Bag

4 loop FIBCs are one of the most cost effective types of packaging solution available for the storage and transportation of a wide range of products that includes construction materials, chemicals, food grains, metals, minerals to name a few.

These FIBCs are coated or uncoated and comes with optional PE liner inside. The fabric or loops of the bag as well as the stitching multifilament yarn can be of various colors for product identification purpose.

These 4 loop FIBCs can also be made from Type-A or Type-B as in “Antistatic” or Type-C as in “Conductive” fabric based on the need.

Designed to carry different loads ranging from 500 Kg to 2000 Kg with safety factors like 5:1/6:1, 4 loop FIBCs are largely divided into two types based on the construction:

U Panel FIBC: Made from a flat woven fabric, U panel FIBCs are an excellent choice for a variety of product especially for dense materials.

Tubular / Circular FIBC: Made from a circular woven fabric, tubular or circular FIBCs are ideal option for fine materials as its typical construction eliminates side seams resulting in improved sift and moisture protection.

1 & 2 Loop Jumbo Bag

FIBC Bags can be manufactured with a number of variations in their designs to cater to different requirements for storage and transportation. 1 & 2 Loop FIBC Bulk Bags are constructed using tubular body fabric which directly get extended to create 1 or 2 lifting loops as required. This gives the bags additional strength and makes it economical as there no further requirement of adding additional loops to the bag. The loops can be wrapped with coloured sleeves which provides assistance in separating different bags as per their application. Usually these One & Two Loop Bags are made with an inner liner to protect the contents from external environment & moisture. These bags find their usage primarily in the agricultural sector but are also used for storing and transporting goods like powders and minerals.

In essence, Single loop and two loop FIBCs provide similar efficiency as a 4 Loop traditional FIBC Bag, but with lower cost.

Q / Baffle Bag

FIBC Q Bags, otherwise known as Baffle Bags, are cost effective and help in optimizing the storage space. These are FIBC Bags with polypropylene baffles sewn across the four corners. These baffles help in better distribution of the filling materials inside it. Also, when transporting, they help the bags retain their straight shape by preventing outward bulging.

UN Bag

UN Bags are designed to carry hazardous products and their use is regulated by the UN Association, commonly known as the Orange Book.

When it comes to the storage and transportation of certain hazardous materials, standard bulk bags don’t always meet the safety requirements that are essential for the safe handling of these types of products. That’s where UN Certified bulk bags come in. UN Certified Bulk Bags are designed specifically to meet the requirements set forth by the United Nations for transporting and storing hazardous materials. In order to be classified as such, the bags must undergo rigorous testing methods.

There are four types of FIBCs for dangerous goods made from woven plastics:

• 13 H 1 - Woven plastics without coating and without liner.
• 13 H 2 - Woven plastics, coated and without liner.
• 13 H 3 - Woven plastics, uncoated and with liner.
• 13 H 4 - Woven plastics, coated and with liner.

Conductive Bag

Type C FIBC, also known as conductive FIBC or ground-able FIBC, are made from non-conductive polypropylene fabrics interwoven with conducting threads traditionally sewn in a grid pattern. These conducting threads must be electrically interconnected as well as connected to a designated ground/earth during filling and discharging. This connection to the ground/earth during filling and discharging is imperative to the safe use of Type C FIBC bags.

Safe use for type C FIBC bags:

• To transport flammable powders.
• When flammable vapours, gases, or combustable dusts are present.

Do not use type C FIBC bags for:

• When ground connection is not present or has become damaged.
• Resistance from any location FIBC to ground-able point.

FIBC LINER

Jumbo bags with PE liners are generally used for safe transit of food products and fine powders. Liners are inserted in FIBC and are compatible with different filling and discharge options. Most often liners are loosely inserted in bags or can also be attached by way of tabbing which allow the liners to be sewed, tied or glued to the bag removing the chance of liner discharge.

Liner Attachment Types

Liners can be factory inserted into your FIBC or purchased separately. They can be loosely inserted, attached at 8 points using tabs, or glued into the body of the bag. In addition, the liner openings can be cuffed and sewn to the filling and discharge spouts of your bag.

LAY FLAT LINER

A lay flat tube is a common, cost-effective style of FIBC liner. The liner has no spouts or contours. Generally, the liner is open on one end and heat sealed on the other. Lay flat liners can be inserted and attached into a bulk bag in the same manner as a form fit liner. Lay-Flat polyethylene liners can come already inserted in the bag or can be purchased by the roll.

BAFFLED LINER

The form-fit baffle design can provide superior package performance and, at times, reduce storage and shipping costs. Baffled liners allow a standard bulk bag to maintain a square shape. The liner is form fitted to the bag and utilizes internal baffles to prevent bulging that could result in a rounded footprint. The square shape promotes greater bag stability and stackability.

FORM FIT LINER

Form fit liners take the exact form of the body of the FIBC including the filling and discharge spouts. Form-fit liners improve the bags performance and protect the product packed from contamination during processing, storage, and transportation. Liner filling and discharge spouts can be tailor-made to the exact size specifications of the customer.

Container bag

• The Container bag is a bag of the size of a standard 20 feet or 40 feet ISO container. Made from PP Fabric this lines the inside of the container walls and hence the packed material is safer than in any sack or FIBC (Jumbo bags/Big Bags/1 ton bags). The walls of the container support the weight of the material packed and therefore there are no chances of material damage or loss. The liner bag is placed inside the container and fixed using loops provided to all sides of the container. The filling and discharge options can be customized as per your requirement.
• The material can then be unloaded directly into the silos/tanks or could be loaded directly onto the packaging machines.
• Container Bags can be used for packaging of any kind of dry bulk materials like, Petrochemicals, Wheat, Rice, Coffee, Fertilizers, Malt, Oilseeds, Pulses, Sugar, Urea, Soda Ash, etc. These liners substantially reduce your packaging and handling costs and at the same time provide you with a safe and clean packaging.

Anti-Static FIBC Bag

Type B FIBC are similar to Type A FIBC bags in that they are made of plain-woven polypropylene fabrics or other non-conductive material. Also like Type A FIBC bags, Type B bags do not have any mechanism for dissipating static electricity.

The difference between Type A & B FIBCs is Type B are made from materials that have a low breakdown voltage to prevent an incident where highly energetic, and dangerous propagating brush discharges occur. Although Type B FIBC bags can prevent propagating brush discharges, they are not considered anti-static bulk bags because they do not dispel an electrostatic charge.

Safe use for type B FIBC bags:

• To transport dry, flammable powders
• No flammable solvents or gases present around the bulk bag
• Intended to be used in environments with dust with ignition energies less than 3mJ.
